Gallery Hire
We offer a number of different hire spaces to suit every artist's needs.
Mezzanine Gallery offers:
- A great location on the vibrant and always busy Victoria Street in Darlinghurst.
- Excellent natural light for viewing art.
- Fresh, clean and modern space.
- Over 35sqm of hanging space plus ample floor space for sculptural works.
- No commission taken by the gallery on artwork sales in hire space.
- Independence for artists to curate their own show but consultation is available if required.
- Gallery is staffed everyday that it is open, so artists don't always need to be on site but it is encouraged!
- Point of Sale system available*.
- Bar facilities available for opening night at happy hour prices.
- Track hanging system.
- WiFi .
- Internal speaker system for opening night music.
- Some storage space for artwork packaging, etc.
- Selection of furnishings, easels and other display items.
- Reasonable website and social media support from gallery.
*Sales incur a 1.9% fee per transaction. See further info in our Terms & Conditions of hire.
Hire rate Mezzanine Gallery
All hires of the space are in allotments of six days, Thursday - Wednesday, noting that the gallery is closed on Mondays.
Mezzanine Gallery Hire Fee:
$1000 (per 6 day allotment)
+$500 bond.

All hires of the space are in allotments of six days, Thursday - Wednesday, noting that the gallery is closed on Mondays.
$800 (per 6 day allotment)
+$400 bond

*Important information regarding Mezzanine accessibility...
Our Mezzanine Gallery space can only be accessed via a flight of stairs and is unfortunately not accessible to wheel chairs. We ask that people hiring the space consider this when making a booking.
